    Thanks for breaking the ice, Kaiser. You've really added some flavor to my day, as much of a Baskin case as it was already. I'd like to see someone else topping you or Robbin your title anytime soon (I also would like to see your cone number :wink:). You just can't fudge those numbers (as much as people who have chocolate chips on their shoulder would want to). I have mint every word ice said, and dough keep cup the food work!

    And the story continues:

    Well, apparently this was all a big misunderstanding. The owner of Gallo Nero, the restaurant that posted the sign, said that they meant that the ice cream was straight, i.e. not bought from the store; that they made their own ice cream.

    Apparently the "big" was meant to imply that they would make a big amount of sales of this straight ice cream, not as a dig at their competitors.

    Come on - if you're going to make a joke like that, at least OWN it and don't cover it up in more lies. Those excuses are about as believable as that the sky is purple.

    And the proprietors of Big Gay Ice Cream have released a statement:

    The fine folks over at Gallo Nero sent a nice spread over to the Big Gay Ice Cream Shop, which they promptly devoured, according to a later tweet.
