Parents can be total butts. Hang in there (*hug*)

Speaking of parents, where the hell is my mom? She was supposed to be here twenty minutes ago.

You always have a choice - Even if it's a job.

If you're really too bothered and concerned by dealing with specific people, change the circumstances so that you don't have to anymore.

He hasn't come online all day.
I'm worried something has happened to him.
Is it possible to oversleep until half one in the afternoon?

Why am I focusing on West Germanic languages again? North Germanic languages seem so much more interesting. Speaking of that, I should practice my Dutch and my German, it's been weeks since I've really done much about them.
I want to learn some Sino-Tibetan languages as well, at least one. And Japanese, and Korean, and several others. I think learning a dead language, such as Latin, however pointless, would be interesting for looking at the growth of languages, in this case the romance languages.

I had a Burger King coupon for a discount on something. I went to the only one within a 7-8 mile radius (near my campus) and the cashier was like "well I can't read the code, so I won't accept it. Um...well f**k this then. I abruptly leave. I then decide to go to another place because I have another coupon for that.

So I went to the local Einstein Bros. on campus (it's an American bagel shop chain) since I had a coupon for 20% my purchase. I get in line to pay and the cashier is like "well, we don't accept *that* here, but that's a really cute coupon *sarcastically of course".

Of course I have to remind myself why there are so many things wrong and backwards with my school. Yayyy someone to just make me ticked off.

So basically I got denied using two coupons on the same day just because some people want to be ornery and be greedy, I suppose.

You walk and sink deeper until the last grain of sand covers your body, but you have died a long time ago.

It's hilarious. To have fancied myself better than the others, yet, I'm the same.

My dream seems hazy, now. I'm starting to lose it. That's sad. But I feel nothing. Not anymore.

I have eczema, which fair warning if you aren't familiar with it the results that will come up in Google are far more extreme than the type that runs in my family. Fortunately, I've never had an inflammation that covered me in hives or rashes. Mine tends to stay more within the skin-discoloration/bruising stage. Especially when the whether changes, I can sometimes randomly wake up with what looks like bruises and very dry skin. This time it just happened to appear in an extremely awkward place...

Omg, I was able to confidently tell one of my crushes (he's from Uruguay) instructions on how to take his quiz and what he needs to do in perfect Spanish . I'm so happy that I didn't look like a goof.

I think it must be strange that almost using the wrong form of your/you're is a source of great alarm to me.

I don't think so, I'm probably biased as I'm horrified whenever I do it myself.

Seeing it is also a source of great discomfort. I think I may be slightly obsessive over it.

Filling out a satisfaction survey about my grandma's medical care.

The demographics questions always make me pause:

Are you of Hispanic or Spanish family background? YES

Which of the following best describes your race?
American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian or Pacific Islander, Black or African-American, White, Other.

Fuck. What the hell do I bubble?

   .
