When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I always wanted to be a singer, musician and a song writer...

 

I had several occupations, that I wanted to be growing up:

- Professional writer
- Professional artist
- Detective
- Director
- Mafia Don
- Mortician
- Scientist (like some here, I had no specific area in mind; I just wanted to study people)

Of those above, the first four seem most possible. The Mafia Don, well, that's a bit harder. Mortician, while plausible, would require special schooling. And Scientist, well, while I'm decent at the sciences, they aren't anything remarkable, unless we count the social sciences.

I think everyone, at one time or another, wants to be a superhero. I'm no exception.

But the biggest thing I wanted to be, as a young kid, was ruler of the world. As silly as it sounds.

 

I wanted to be a fireman and a WWE wrestler with a mohawk, when I was really young. I had a desire to be a cop as well. I'm not certain why, must of thought they were cool. As I aged I pretty much wanted to be anything that involved dogs.

My dream to have a epic mohawk has been achieved. That's something right.

 

I wanted to be a pilot and see the world :eusa_danc

But my first dream job was to become some type of scientist, especially concerning space.

A vetenarian until about 12 years old when I discovered how great I am with fixing computers, then I wanted to be a Computer tech then last year I changed my mind to graphical designing which I'm sticking with because next year I have to choose a university lol

An artist. I've always wanted to be an artist

 

I wanted to be a journalist or a writer.

 

I wanted to be an adult.

 

I wanted to be a Veterinarian. Then I found out how many years of college I would have to go through, and said "to hell with that"!

I'm still kicking myself in the ass for that mistake.


Then I wanted to be a chef, so I got into college, but then had to drop out.....due to circumstances that are too numerous to list.


I tried college a couple more times later on, and had catastrophic consequences.........so I finally figured out I was not meant to go to college, and stopped trying.

Now Im just an office worker.

 

I wanted to be an archaeologist kinda for my whole life. But not anymore when I found out it wouldn't be like Indiana Jones.
I also wanted to be a police officer, writer, professor and artist.
And now I don't know anymore....

 

I wanted to be a meteorologist. I was always fascinated by extreme weather.

 

An actress. How original, right?

 

Astronomer here, I love anything to do with space.

 

A geologist or more specifically, a volcanologist

I always loved natural disasters +o
