Babies

 

Ripping a corner off of a loaf of fresh bread. Popping bubble wrap. Picking fluff out of Velcro. The feel of a carrot snapping between my molars. Landing a perfect highfive. Being asked for my opinion. Defeating a difficult boss without look at the gamefaqs for it. The fine art of working a good foot groove into new runners. When people hold the door open for others, or just generally show kindness. Tossing a can into the trash without without hitting the sides. Sand between my toes. Snow squishing into a snowball between my bare fingers. Jumping into the lake in early April and struggling to breathe through the cold, but feeling so incredibly alive.

Many things in this life make me happy.

 

Talking is great. So is masturbation.

Music is a good one. Taking a walk, reading a good book or poem. Debating, even if it pisses me off also usually makes me happy. Being able to read a new kanji. Christmas. My family and friends as well (for the most part). Snow. Rain. A good sunset.

Anime.

 

Wearing the yukata I got on a trip to Japan. It wasn't the prettiest one, nor the best in quality, but it was my first genuine female clothing. I grabbed it right at the airport before we take off, and through all that frantic confusion and rush, I managed to nab myself a piece of female clothing without anyone notice. It also helps that a yukata looks unisex for most people.

Whenever I feel dysphoric, I wear it and walks around and it makes me happy.

 

My comfort foods: mac and cheese, raspberries, and cheesecake

Seeing other people in love, especially same sex couples. It gives me hope

Seeing people help people, or seeing someone stand up and speak for another group who is at a disadvantage.

 

Always chocolate
