I was under the impression the staff wanted to put an end to those "peace out, bitches" threads. Perhaps I'm misremembering.

I'm ready to give this bag of seaweed a bisection. Lower the scalpel, and slice through to the tasty goodness inside! Cut that bitch in half.

I'm scared to know how I did on my Psychology test. It was on the neurotransmitters, the brain, the nervous system, and all that fun stuff.

I wonder if we even have the conventional definition of 'weather' anymore. I know April varies a bit, but last week was summer-standard temperatures and now it has gone really cold and windy, and some areas are even forecasting snow.

^I agree with Kageshiro. I know she's your mother and all but if she's not even willing to speculate being supportive, well she's not exactly acting like one. But there are plenty of other people out there who would show support, despite not being family. Also; from what you said there it sounds like her definition of womanhood (despite being one herself) is periods, making babies and being objectified.

You on the other hand, are a far more capable, more well-rounded woman

I get where she was coming from, even if it came out a little... ridiculous. She isn't saying that's all that makes a woman, but it is part of the experience. The fact I had "male privilege" made it difficult to experience that, and she's reminding me of this.

The interesting thing to note here is, she didn't care so much about the transitioning, so much as she did about how it'd reflect on her -- which is exactly what the problem is, with her, and the majority of this family. They won't chase you out of town with pitchforks, but they'll cut you off, forcing you to leave... unless you "stop/change", then they'll welcome you back in.

If my grandmother didn't include a clause (which financially benefits me, too) for having my mother live with me, I'd probably kick my mother out. Yeah, that about sums up our relationship. Harsh, yes, but it is the reality.

On a positive note, I had a wonderful dream. It was watching the sky melt, with classical music in the distant background, and a mixture of colors. Very bizarre, but in a cool way.
