When I was a kid I completely avoided anything that was even remotely scary, and now I have pretty much the opposite reaction.
I love horror movies. I am partial to what I like to call artsy horror movies (Pan's Labyrinth, Only Lovers Left Alive). I am drawn into the beautiful scenery and I suppose the highfalutin dialogue. I also love the comedy horror genre (Zombieland, Beetlejuice, Shaun of the Dead).
Oh! I should not forget the musicals (Rocky Horror, Repo!, Little Shop of Horrors).
I can watch movies that would be considered torture porn, but if the dialogue and/or the cinematography don't draw me in, I may not finish watching it.

I LOVE horror movies. I've been obsessed with anything remotely scary since I was a tiny kid. I even love the bad slasher flicks, cause you can always make fun of em! As for favorites, I recently watched this Australian film called The Babadook (silly title, but it really scared me, which is rare). The first VHS made me nervous to watch (in a pleasant way, since that's a horror movie's job). My first horror movie was Darkness Falls when I was about 5, & so it's a huge favorite of mine. If you wanna count The Crow series (only the first two, because the third was crap, imo), that's definitely up there since I watched it at the same time as Darkness Falls. Sinister was great. I saw The Birds when I was 15, & loved it.

I didn't know this was considered horror, I thought it was more a thriller or a drama or something, but I have so much love for this film.

I forgot to mention The Mist, as well.

I thought Devil's Rejects was pretty good. The Broken movie by Nine Inch Nails was too much. Lost Highway's my favorite.

Love horror movies. I grew up watching Child's Play and Friday the 13th

It would take me hours to list the movies I've seen or like. All I do from mid September to Halloween is watch horror films, nothing better than cuddling up on the couch watching scary movies then going out exploring the woods hehe.

Anyone else on here watch Chiller? So many good indie horror flicks

The first Alien movie was amazing! And yes, it definitely counts as horror. I watched it the first time with my dad, and he told me what it was like seeing it in the theater...no one had ever seen anything like that before and it gave people nightmares lol.

I LOVE horror movies, to the point where sometimes I wonder if there's something wrong with me.

    Some of my favorites:

    Oculus
    Cabin in the Woods
Dawn of the Dead, both the original and remake
    Carriers
    House on Haunted Hill
    Paranormal Activity
    The Ring
    The Descent
    The conjuring
    28 Weeks Later

I've literally watched so many that I can't remember all of them. If it's on netflix or amazon, I've probably watched it.

I dislike horror movies. Not because they scare me, but because they bore me to death.

    I'm not big on Horror movies but like any movie I enjoy them when they're well made. The Original Halloween, Alien 1979, John Carpenter's The Thing, Jaws, and the Cabin in the Woods (more of a Horror tribute, and a criticism of modern horror movies) are a few of my favorites. I wanted to go and see that new Horror movie It Follows in the theater but I missed it ;-;

I usually prefer movies with elements of horror and a blend of other things like the 1984 Terminator, but I'll give horror a chance if the premise or the monster is clever or interesting enough. Fortunately my crush is really into horror movies and I'm slowly exploring more of them through him =D
