The one that caused the strongest emotions in me is most likely Bridge To Terabithia. I was a steaming mess for days. >.<

But a very real contender is Interstellar. Despite being a flashy space movie, it had some of the rawest emotional displays (and cinematic constructions to bring out emotion without acting) I've ever seen. It wasn't perfect overall but it was damn close enough to be unforgettable for me.

Suicide Room (2011) and Melancholia (2011). But I better react to books.

"Beautiful Thing" Movie ....Glen Berry ..yum! Okay ...maybe it's not the "most" of anything ...but definitely a gay themed honorable mention for something to watch on a rainy day if you've never seen it.
The story is about two boys falling in love, coming of age and "making their own kind of music". If you're American like me, you'll find dated, quaint, goofy British dialogue (which I mean in the nicest possible way)...but I guarantee on your second and third watch it will take on it's own endearing charm. (Yes no matter how dated this movie is to you, you'll watch it more than once)

Great cast, great production value, great story, very hard to follow. Has a gay theme to it as well.

"Prayers for Bobby" I never cried so hard for a movie before. I was a mess, just.. tears and snot everywhere and tissues all over my blanket covered body. I think that movie actually might have made me dehydrated.

    Most passionate movie: Casablanca!

A beautiful story of love lost, love regained and self-sacrifice. Some of the best on screen acting ever.

The Passion of Christ. I think even if when non Christians watch it, they will feel something. That something, though, doesnt mean it has to be spiritual

Passionate as in caused the most emotions:
Interstellar bc it destroyed my view of the universe and time itself.
Eat pray love bc it touched me deeply.
    Titanic...
Django Unchained bc of a high rate of disgust.

Hachi, definitely. I hate losing pets, but I never really considered a pet losing their owner. Very heartwrenching story.

Otherwise, The Legend of 1900. I don't know how people haven't seen this movie. There's passion for music, for love, for a way of life. It's a beautiful and unique story. And Tim Roth is a gem in it.

I just saw Lawrence anyways a few days ago, and at some scenes I had to turn my back to the screen, 'cause it was simply too much to take, specially when Fred confronts her.

Another movie I can't forget is 'Written on the wind'.
