Why did you chose this username?

I used to be super into the care of freshwater fish. I don't have any anymore (and only had a couple when I created the account) but it still seemed sort of fitting. And new because I had just joined.
So sort of outdated for me, but whatever.

 

My username is a reference to Gravitation, the first actual yaoi I came across.

Why yaoi? Because it's basically how I found out I wasn't straight. I mean it was the first confirmation.

Why Ryuichi? Because while I can be quite like Shuichi at times, I tend to be very forgetful and spacey, something everyone who actually knows me has noticed. At the same time, there's a part of me that can be almost opposite of what I present as, especially when it comes to things I'm passionate about (See graphics I made for Gnerd Army). I also can sing. It's quite scary how similar we are, Ryuichi Sakuma and I.

 

At the time I joined the site I was in the middle of a Game of Thrones craze, so I named my username after Jon Snow's dire wolf Ghost. 93 is my birth year.

In retrospect, I don't think it was a good decision. Jon Snow isn't anywhere near my top 10 Game of Thrones characters. It was a very random name choice. But I'll stick with it.

When I eventually come out of the closet I will consider making my avatar a photo of myself. Right now its too risky.

 

chose my name because I am a fan of the R&B artist Dwele

 

Because it is my real name.

 

One of my favourite films is Peaceful Warrior. And this film means me much more. It gave strength when I needed it and the things they say in it just so true.

Another reason is that I feel (I've always felt) myself as a warrior cause I had to go through hard things in my life. And peaceful is also me. I don't appreciate violence, I fight in my own way.

My first username was: Sugilite. She's from Steven Universe, and voiced my Nicki Minaj. I love Steven Universe and Nicki Minaj.

I pick that to reflect the long journey i'm about to embark of moving away from religious and social norm who rejects me for who i am because of my "crossing" behavior and sexuality. The furious part is what my feeling towards their rejection, ignorance and judgement.

I looked across to my bookshelf in my office, and the first book that caught my eye was 'Through the Eye of a Needle' by Peter Brown. It is a discussion of the way wealth changed the Christian Church from the mid 3rd to the mid 5th century. The title is from Jesus 's comment that it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter heaven.

 

Being that I changed my username, I felt like I needed a new answer. I used to be Justy, which is a character on Pokemon: XD (Gale of Darkness).

I changed it to CyanChachki because I knew I couldn't use my own drag name, so I partially went with my favorite color (because her first name was too long) and her last name.. Chachki.

 

It matches my personality! I LOVE hugs and I am a little dino IRL...I tend to be the one who runs around like a madman. Also...Who does not want to be hugged by the great HugasaurusRex?!
