I thought we could have a thread for advice to prepare for tests, be it end of year exams coming around or college preparatory, which is what I'm doing. What do you find helpful when preparing for a big test?
Yup, that's bout it I also study study study. I read my notes and then rewrite them then read some more then rewrite them. Also read the text book again.
I don't take assignments that seriously, but when finals roll around, I take that shit seriously. My university has a quiet floor of the library where I go to study. Don't often study in groups - it's just to distracting for me. For mathish subjects, I do a shit ton of practice. Redo questions from the assignments, midterms, the textbook, and last year's final for the class (most university libraries have old exams). I NEED to listen to music for more practice based studying, or else I just can't find motivation. For more memory based subjects, I quietly read my notes to myself. It's also helpful to make condensed study notes, flashcards, and to read textbook chapter summaries. Often it's not practical to memorize everything the teacher said, you have to figure out what is most important.
