I used to be a pretty good swimmer, I was in my school team but I hated it, most of them were pretty mean to anyone who was a little different. So I don't really like to swim any more, they kinda ruined it for me. But I'm perfectly comfortable in the water.

I took swimming lessons for a few years back when I was like 12-13, got to the 2nd highest level and ended up stopping. When I end up in a pool I can still swim pretty fast. I'm actually kinda curious how my swimming compares to the competitive swimmers my age. I've also noticed it's harder for me to swim in a lake/river than in a pool, anyone else notice that?

Nope. I also don't know how to ride a bike. My family never really taught me when I was younger but I hate going to swimming pools anyways. I'd rather learn to ride a bike than learn to swim.

I'd like to think I still know how to swim. I took swimming lessons for what felt like my entire childhood, although I can't remember what level I got to. I think it was the second last highest level, but I failed it and never went back after that.

I get really uncomfortable swimming in lakes or rivers where you can't see the bottom. I used to love going to the beach and swimming around, but now if I can't see the bottom I freak out. I don't normally go swimming very frequently anyway.

I never learnt to swim as a child and only got the odd hour swim class at school. I was never good at using my feet so I never had any luck learning when I got older.

Yeah. I'm not crazy good or anything, but I love swimming. When I was a kid I'd always be by the beach or public pool in the summer with my friends and family. I've never competed, but people have told me I have the perfect body for swimming: quite tall, narrow hips, wide shoulders, long legs, long arms. It's terribly exhausting for your arms though, when swimming longer distances. I prefer swimming in freshwater lakes, I really dislike saltwater and chlorine.

Yeah, I can swim and its one of my favourite sports. I did synchronized swimming for four years and I like to go and swim laps every so often

I do although I'm not a very strong swimmer.

Quite well actually. Started swimming at a small age. I always loved the water though when I was 2 I was terrified when I got into the deep end because I could not swim and the wings were not functional enough for my comfort...I remember that day quiet vividly.

Long story short, I learned to swim at around age 6 at a day camp in my hometown and I could have became an Olympic swimmer if I pushed myself.

Yup. Three times a week for over 10 years. Should go back to that but it's expensive...
