I'm proud of finally finishing "Day of the Tentacle". And no, it's not the Remastered version. It's the original 1993 DOS CD-ROM release.

Going through orientation, setting up my schedule for my first year of college and getting info on my college's LGBT support group.

Getting out of bed and staying out of it all day, because I honestly didn't feel the desire to

    Welp, I'm double posting here.

But I'm proud of signing up for this big social coming up. None of my friends can go with me and everyone who is going I don't know very well or at all (and there are so many people who are going :eek:slight_smile:, but I thought I'd give it a shot anyways. I'm pretty anxious but what the hell. I felt up to facing this fear this time so I'll give it a try and do my best.

I guess I'm proud of myself for this?

I walked in a Pride parade today (and last week), putting aside all fear, to 1. show solidarity with my friends in Orlando 2. show the world we are here to stay & 3. let kids in my small town area know that there are people like them out there too and it can get better than going to a shitty homophobic small town school.

I've been working out every day this week. And while I did lose a pound, what I'm really liking is the slight definition I'm finally seeing in my biceps.

Though better upon waking up today than I'd have thought, got myself to not only go for a good twenty minute walk within my neighborhood, I also left the house for awhile to visit a Barnes and Noble I don't visit often and stopped at a grocery store to pick up a couple things on the way home.

There was nothing remarkable about any of this, though I got a new book which I'm very happy to own , yet it was very enjoyable in part because I was getting out on my own and doing stuff with no particular expectations other than "being in the moment," I suppose.

Even if it's not likely to experience this every day, it's refreshing once in awhile to go through ordinarily mundane activities with this sense of regeneration.

Proud that I actually ate lunch today.

I don't have an eating disorder, but I've stopped eating breakfast and lunch in the last few days after a bit of a rough patch. So, progress.

Great! I remember how nervous I was when I bought my first dildo last year. Then, I realized, since I was ordering online, there was a lower chance of people finding out!

I'm almost done packing, so I guess I'm proud of that. I'll be even prouder when my closets and compartiments are completely empty. Guess I'll get around to that.

Managing to pull myself together after what can be understatedly described as a rough few days.

I managed to address my emotions fairly swiftly, talk to the people I needed to talk to calmly and rationally but frankly and uncompromisingly and make the decision to allow myself to hurt as I should in order to avoid bottling emotions, but also to find a way to move on as soon as possible.

Self pity and grief are an unaffordable luxury when you have the ability to move on. I'm proud of myself for coming to terms with that fairly well without ignoring that I'll be in a rough emotional state for a while yet.

That while, once again, work was a bit annoying and felt I wasn't being as efficient as preferred that I didn't get overwhelmed or stressed out in any way. Also that while I'm disappointed and have other feelings toward a couple friends, one of whom is my current crush, the negative or upset thoughts don't appear to be getting to me. They're still in my head, but I wouldn't think of myself as 'embittered,' per se, lately.

I worked out to get rid of cramps. And I get pretty intense cramps. Then I ate a bowl of Cheetos Puffs and half a bar of dark chocolate afterward. And some grapes and blueberries, so partially healthy. I also haven't given in to the temptations of drinking soda. Only water.
