So, I am a swimmer and thus have a gargantuan appetite (fitting for a teenage boy I suppose). Though I have been having trouble finding healthy foods that will keep me full. Increasingly, whenever I eat sugary foods or dairy I feel sick. As a side note, I am a vegetarian.

What is your experience with appetite and do you have any good food suggestions that keeps you full?

I've had some pretty crazy experiences with my appetite. Like, foods never seeming to keep me full and getting hungry again shortly after eating. I've been eating a lot of peanut butter (with honey to prevent me from choking). It keeps me pretty full. The other food that seems to keep me full is keifer, which is a fermented, usually from dairy, drink. I have heard of people making keifer out of coconut milk so, perhaps you can try that.

Honey, bananas, porridge (soy if dairy not preferred), nuts, and potatoes I always find handy if I work out more than usual.

Definitely try to avoid sugar, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables will keep you full. Be sure to eat plenty of protein. I find that, for meatless proteins, tofu and garden burgers fill me up pretty well. Eggs should do it too, if you eat those.
