    I've never fully understood why puns get so much hate, they're one of my favourite types of humour. I love word play, literal jokes (a man walks into a bar, what did he say? Ow, obviously) anti-humour and puns.

    But to each their own I guess. :shrug:

    Haha, yeah I'm a teacher...and students tend to feel all embarrassed when their teachers make really lame puns (at least my students do), so it's funny to see them get all cringey haha.

    Good point, but I thought more along the lines of when the thread reaches 10 000 posts and the EC staff decides to close it. The last poster (the author of the 10 000th post) will then be victorious and will earn bragging rights and possibly create version 2, and so on. Everybody wants to be a winner, so until the thread meets its end, it's fair game :grin:
