Recently I've embarked on the journey of building my own custom gaming PC! I wanted to know if anyone had any tips or wanted to share their build ideas with me!

You can see my build HERE

The parts that are missing are parts that I already ordered which are: the RAM (8GB) the wireless adapter, and the thermal paste.. Next week I plan on buying the motherboard and the HDD

Why don't you get a SSD to install your OS on? That's probably the most cost-effective upgrade, speedwise.

You can keep your media/games on the HDD.

Research the FUCK out of your parts, I got a motherboard that wasn't compatible with my cpu because it was cheaper

I forget which exactly, but it was a dual core amd cpu and the mobo didn't support the socket type

OP's mobo/CPU combination looks fine, but I'd probably feel safer if he got a more expensive mobo (to the extent that I'll feel anything).

It's always better to get a bigger mobo that supports more ram, 32 or 64 gigs may seem like overkill now but not in 5-10 years time

It will still come with thermal paste, he didn't list a hestsink anywhere. I was just pointing it out because many people make the same mistake. Thermal paste is like 7 bucks. That's like wasteing a nice lunch.

The point of building a PC is to eventually expand it. It'll get more expensive when I feel like it
