With the Xbox One and PS4 right around the corner, what next gen console are you excited for?

I personally am going for the Xbox One first. I preordered mine a while back now. If the PS4 has enough exclusives down the road then I may invest in one of them as well. I'm super excited for the Xbox One though!

Don't forget about the Wii U also even though it's already out. So many people act like Nintendo doesn't even exist nowadays. As long as Nintendo continues to pump out their awesome first party games then I'll always stick by their side.

I'm curious as to how others feel.

PS4 all the way! I've been brought up playing Sony, so I will stay with Sony. I dont have anything against Xbox One but yeah...

As for the Wii U, I will probably end up getting it somehow.

Not actually planning on buying one at the moment.

though honestly... I found the PS4 and XBox One announcements bland (PS4) and worrisome (XBoxOne), so if I were to choose, I'd go with the WiiU.
Which hasn't had the greatest lineup yet, but I'm hoping they do the same as they did with the 3DS, which went from "Just for Zelda 3D" to "Must have with me at all times!" in just a couple months.

    I'm all about the playstation,
but I can't stand the fanbois/haters on both sides of the fence.

They're basically just daft people.... the 2 are going to cater to different markets, so most people are going to prefer one or the other.. there is no 'right' choice.

Mind you, microsoft went a little nuts with the always on/kinect spying/etc stuff from initial announcement... BUT that said.. it's nothing sony wont eventually be doing too - they just did it way earlier in time than people were comfortable with.

I'm probably either with Playstation or Nintendo. Not MIcrosoft. Screw microsoft. I haven't got a Wii U yet, mainly because none of the launch games interested me, and I just kinda forgot about it. But if they keep making the brilliant first party games (which they are) then definitely Nintendo with Playstation close behind.

I'm totally with you about the 3DS Filip! They have done an amazing job with the collection of games they've released for it. Did you hear about the 2DS as well as the $50 Wii U price cut?

@srslywtf - Yeah fanboys can be annoying because they try to force their opinions on you a lot.

PS4. I won't say I'm a fan because I'd only get it for the exclusives not available on PC (yeah I've turned to one of them :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:) but while I was an Xbox fan, MS has kicked me to the curb. Buying the XBone would be thanking them for doing it.

PS4. If I had a chance to play it, I would, but I'm currently still on a PS3.
As for Xbox One, I have nothing against it but I'm just more used to Sony. And I'd prefer the PS4 games.

Currently, I have a ps2 and ps3, will likely get ps4 when available.
I have the ps2 for playing older games that give me the nostalgia.

PS4 all the way!! The Xbox One sounds soo screwed up and annoying. I haven't played the Wii U yet, but Nintendo does come out with some really good games.

Every electronic I buy is Sony. (For the most part)
    Even my computer is Sony.

    I won't be buying a PS4 anytime soon though.
With my ultra amazing computer that I recently acquired, I can play most games on it instead.

Besides, the PS3 isn't dead yet! Remember how long the PS2 lasted?
    Over a decade!

My favourite is Nintendo, with PS on the side (for FF, KH, Tales, SMT... that sort of crowd). I've never been into Xbox.

I'm a Nintendo fanboy, from playing the SNES down to the Gamecube and Wii. However, personally only owned a Gameboy color and Nintendo 64.

I'm a Nintendo fan, all the way. I hardly ever get any consoles outside of Nintendo. I've owned every Nintendo console to date except for the Super Nintendo. I don't have the Wii U yet, but that's definitely the first thing I'm springing for, especially since Earthbound is on the virtual console, and Wind Waker HD.

That being said, I do like a lot of Playstation. I just never have the extra cash to get the extra console. That being said, I may swing for a PS4 if I get a job and start accumulating some extra cash.

I've never been a fan of Xbox in general. It's probably because I don't like shooters very much, and much of Xbox's library is shooters. Nothing wrong with the console itself, it's just never been my taste.
