Anyone else who played Banjo Kazooie can agree with me on this

Did anyone else play Goemon? That's my favorite N64 game, and it's a shame that it didn't get the recognition that it deserved. I can still sing the Japanese theme song to this day.

That giant fish from Super Mario 64 still scares me...

N64 is my favorite console, such fantastic games, my top 10 were:

    1. Banjo Tooie
    2. Perfect Dark
    3. Goldeneye 007
    4. Star Fox 64
    5. Diddy Kong Racing
    6. Banjo Kazooie
    7. Super Mario 64
    8. Super Smash Bros
    9. Mario Party 2/3
    10. Star Wars Shadows of the Empire

(i havent played the zeldas, and i though mario kart wasnt as good as diddy kong racing, which had a storyline and gave me much more motivation to play and finish it than just random tournament races)

by the way, i dont remember that pic from banjo kazooie, that looks like the sewer shark level, but i dont really have any frustration from it because i thought BK was pretty easy to get 100%, banjo tooie on the other hand was much harder and required a lot more work, but i also though the music, the levels, the bosses and new moves were much, much better, and the game was also had a darker atmosphere than BK, thats why its my favorite game for the n64

for me the real frustration of the N64 was those last challenges from perfect dark, wtf man? those were such a bitch! (not me on the video)

I absolutely loved Diddy Kong Racing. Man that game was fun. Also, I really liked Star Wars Episode I: Battle for Naboo. I used to play the final level (destroying the droid control ship) over and over.

Oh man. N64. Fucking thing was my childhood.

Legend of Zelda, the Pokemon Stadium games, Rogue Squadron, Star Fox 64, Smash Bros., Mario 64, Mario Party, Mario Kart 64...

    I could go on.

Used to play Ocarina of Time and what I'd do is because I was a lazy ass kid was wait until my brother beat the game (had a habit of deleting his account and starting over when he got bored), I'd copy his file and just run around fighting spawned monsters and accessing the miscellaneous content and side plots.

    My top ten games are:
    1. Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
    2. Legend of the Mystical Ninja Starring: Goemon
    3. Ocarina of Time
    4. Paper Mario
    5. Super Smash Bros
    6. Pokemon Snap
    7. Mario Party 3
    8. Rampage 2
    9. Pokemon Stadium 2
    10. Snowboard Kids 2

I know that I said Goemon was my favorite game earlier, but then I remembered Majora's Mask. It was close though.

    Agreed.

I loved the N64. I've played Ocarina of Time probably 3 times a year or so since it came out, and then of course there's Banjo Kazooie, Goldeneye, Smash Brothers, Super Mario 64...tons of great memories!

Orcarina of Time, I've played so many times I can't count. That is still probably my favorite

I remember on new year's eve when it turned 2000, I was playing Donkey Kong 64 with my brother and sister. Angry Aztec was a difficult level back then

I still like to play on my 64 but it has been a while....Oh, the downsides of getting older

    Loved it!

I played this a lot. Not as much as goldeneye, but it was awesome.

Before I had any console of my own, I would watch my sister play her's.

The main game I loved was Super Mario 64. I eventually bought it on DS so I could actually play it.

I would watch my sister play Harvest Moon for hours. Apparently, Harvest Moon 64 is pretty rare so I'm glad I own a copy. I even remember crying when the mole died in Banjo Kazooie. I also remember my sister getting in trouble for letting me watch her play Resident Evil 2.

One of these days I need to play Ocarina. The only Zelda exposure I've had is Wind Waker (which I absolutely love but can't beat) and of course:

    Mischief Makers <3

  17. Rampage!!! And Rampage 2!!! Lol

    Oh and WCW/NWO Revenge

    All the Pokemon Stadiums...

Uh... that's pretty much it for me because I spent WAY too much time playing Pokemon Stadium lol hehe

But all in all the N64 was a damn good system. It had a wonky controller, but otherwise it was a pretty good quality machine. Gamecube was the best tho! :eusa_danc

Yeah, what was with the controller anyway? How the hell were you supposed to hold the fucking thing? Was it made for human use?

Am I the only one who felt it was indeed a practical design?

I didn't start playing console games until 2004, at which point the N64 had run its course. But when I was younger I would occasionally go over to my neighbor's house and watch him play Ocarina of Time, and I loved doing that. I also played Super Smash Bros. at another neighbor's house a few times, and I had a lot of fun with it.
