Minecraft!

How did this die so soon? Let's get it going again.

My craziest experience was finding diamond, gold, iron, coal, redstone and lapis lazuli all within ten blocks of each other.
Here's a screenshot to prove I'm not talking a lot of hot air:

I was playing on 1.0 when I stumbled across this.
What's the biggest load of treasure you've ever found?

 

I love Minecraft! I once found 15 diamonds in 2 minutes, and I found a seed that spawns right near a ravine with a stronghold in it.(!)

 

Hey there miners the most i have ever found is a 8 diamond ore cluster, then proceded to explore a lava pit (!) cant wait for tu13 yeah xbla

 

i found an underground farm filled with animals o.o

 

Gah, I recall mining once and hearing cows mooing nearby. I then found a nearby tunnel from the surface where cows from the surface were wandering in.

You should watch second episode of 17th season of South Park, it's all about Minecraft and was pretty funny in explaining it.

 

I love minecraft not only for pc but for xbox aswell we should get a sever going with us lot on it. It would be get fun to do. The best thing I have built is Wembley Stadium (England, UK) to a full scale on the xbox and now building Camp Nou.

 

I enjoy minecraft. One of my seeds in an extremely outdated version, spawned me near a 16x16 pillar of diamond, gold, and iron.
It was most likely a rendering glitch, but I made no report of it to Notch.
Also from MC, one of my first big builds was a pyramid complex, this was when it was still in Alpha, so still glitchy, but it suited my needs. Sadly, I didn't know how to backup the world saves so I lost it when I updated...

 

Love Minecraft. Been playing it since Alpha. Biggest build was a city. Took forever to mine all the materials. x_x Favorite build was a strip club. Actually, I've built several of them. xD Good place for a gathering.

Used to play on KlondikeCraft. Now on private server.

 

I have three projects going on at the moment:

1. Replacing all stone in my End Portal room with wood, just to make it feel more welcoming:


2. Creating a large storage room for all my items:


3. Extending this bridge in the Nether to the other side of a ravine:


I'm also thinking about adding a balcony to the top floor of my desert village tower.

 

Meh I don't ever game and i've never been into building actual things. I don't really like minecraft but have built and ran servers that were quite popular in the past.

 

I've read about it and watched lot of gameplay videos on youtube, but I still can't understand why its so popular. I tried terraria... I guess its kind of same thing but in 3D.

 

I absolutely love Minecraft! However i like modding it up to heck.

 

Gods, that's fecking awesome! I usually find a bunch of redstone everywhere but I only find gold and diamond nearing the bottom of the world, nearing the void. When I DO find diamond, it's normally in a cluster of 20-30.

 

I'm currently playing 1.7.2 and i couldn't be happier with the new biomes!

What's your favourite biome? (old or new)

Mine would have to be the covered forest, it's so pretty.
