I got an Windows Update that mentions Internet Explorer 11. Should I bother updating it? The last time I agreed to any IE update, it messed my computer up badly.

I would say back up your important data first if you gonna do it. I myself dont use IE, but I think version 11 should be a pretty decent update. Its starting to catch up with the other browsers so it should give a much better experience.

On my PC, whenever I did an IE update, it seemed to work fine. YMMV. But like I said, I dont use it as my main browser

I hide the update so it's not an eye sore. I just don't want to take any chances. I remember the first time I did the update, which left my computer virtually unusuable since all my shit was messed up. The second time I did it, I had problems...fucking IE, I swear.

It's funny how they wanted me to get IE10 in March, now they want me to get IE11 now. Pfft....

I user Chrome and Firefox exclusively and Ive never felt like Im missing anything. But then again I switch between Windows and Linux quite regularly, so it makes sense for me.

I use Firefox for the most part, but it was a royal pain in the ass to come back from an update and my computer was near inoperable (like I couldn't open documents and shit like that).

I always have 40+ tabs open. And DLs and ULs going on constantly. Not stuff IE can handle. I liked firefox when I was like 11. But then I turned twelve. And I learned things.

Nowadays, I mostly stick to Chrome, with Maxthon as my number 2, and Opera as my "holy shit nothing is working but I need to know the weather."

Chrome for me (or Dolphin if I'm on my Android phone).
If IE11 is any good, I might check it out. Maybe.
    But probably not.

I've used Chrome almost exclusively for about 3-4 years now. I used Firefox & Safari briefly when I had Windows Vista. Both slowed the machine down to a crawl compared to Chrome. These days, I only use IE to download other browsers.

The badass adorable anime girl they're advertising with tempted me to install it despite the fact I've never used IE, but well, even if it's faster now, Internet Explorer lacks the customizability Chromium and Firefox have.

I use SR Ware Iron practically exclusively, now, it's great and it's Chrome, only with less privacy issues.
Unless some website refuses to work then I try it with Firefox.
