Any persona Fans?

huh? what three games? dont tell me persona 4 is happening??!!!
or is it another fighter game? i was gutted when my ps2 broke, id only just started playing p4, and im still saving up to get a vita so i can play it on that. the anime was awesome and i cant wait for the p3 movie its the game that introduced me to the persona series.
id quite like an anime series on p2 or even p1 just so i can see what happened in those ones.

Persona 5, which should make an awesome Christmas present next year (also, chairs).
Even though it's for a last-gen console, better late than never, I say! (!)
Persona 4 Arena is getting a sequel.
Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is a 3DS game, and there are both P3 and P4 characters, which makes it an automatic must play in my book.
Also, there's going to be a rhythm game called Persona 4 Dancing All Night for the PS Vita.
Interesting.
By the way, P4 is also my favorite.

You could watch a Let's Play, I guess.
The first one's called Revelations: Persona, and there's a PSP remake called Shin Megami Tensei: Persona.
Persona 2 has 2 chapters, though. Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment, I think...
I bet people would make separate LPs for each chapter.

 

I've watched LPs of 3 and 4. My favourite is four, and the anime is freaking amazing. X3

 

I played the P1 remake on PSP, P4 on PS2, P4 Arena on PS3, and watched P4: The Animation.

I really enjoyed everything the series had to offer. I can't get enough of P4's soundtrack, even though I can't understand 80% of the lyrics xD I wanted to play the P4 remake on Vita but haven't purchased a Vita yet. I'll get it when I can afford it.

I am excited about P5. I wonder if the game will have a high school theme like P1, P3, and P4. The trailer said something about escaping prison, so I feel like they will do a complete 360 in terms of the game's premise.

 

You've just given me a thought, what if the next setting is a prison? Think about it; like a school you would be forced into seeing the same group of characters day in day out in the same environment, certain characters seeking redemption or coming to terms with what they have done which would be a good way to fit the social links into it. Plus there would be loads of red herrings on who the villain is if they want to do a mystery again like P4, plus have cameos of Dojima visiting the prison and even the killer from p4 (wont name due to spoilers).
Id be happy if they did do the school again since it works really well but if they are doing something like a prison it would be an interesting new take. hope we wont have to wait long for details.

 

Personally, I was hoping they'd do a juvenile detention center.
That way, there could be both high schoolers and jail.
Then again, that ad didn't reveal much- it might be something different entirely.

 

They say P5 character is an adult :/ dunno if it's true though

Although there is a new Manga that details Naoto's exploits as a senior after the events of 4 and features cameos by p3 characters. I REALLY hope they either bridge the gap in p4a number 2 or make 5 a true direct sequel.

So pissed at the ending of P4a after what happened to Labrys.

 

Ive not played that game and not sure i will since its still about £40 in shops. canu give me the gist of it?

Basically the midnight channel is used as a tournament to represent the trials and tribulations of Aigis' older sister, Labrys, who was treated badly by her creators. After she suffered so much the end of the game was... Angering to me. I won't say anymore but if you are a fan you would get it at least when it drops in price.

 

kay, thanks for the gist. im saving up for a vita so i can play and finish p4. i had it on ps2 but my console broke, though i know how p4 ends it doesnt mean im not gona enjoy playing it.

 

There is an additional dungeon which explains p4 even more in the vita version. I'm doing my 2nd play through now to get the platinum trophy for it.

 

I have a PS3.
Would it be backwards compatible with P4?
Or should I just get a PS Vita and P4 Golden?

 

What model is it? A 20 or 60 gb? Those have backwards capatibility to play p4.

Although p4 golden on the vita is pretty damn sweet with extra features and dungeon. However it may not be feasible for everyone to spend 250$ to buy a vita and game.

I'm excited to play Persona Q once it's released in North America.

As for my favourite, it's a tie between Persona 3 and 4, although I'm also trying out Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment.
