Oh man, it's kinda sad. So I got Animal Crossing for Christmas, and loved the heck out of it. But recently, it started to get repetative and boring. I dunno, what do you do in Animal Crossing when you're bored?
You could always try to get more bells and upgrades. Does your town have the max amount of villagers?
I think it has max villagers, but the best ways of making bells is usually going to the island to catch sharks and beetles. Maybe I'll start talking to the villagers more, and they'll give me things to do.
I only play about 15 minutes a day while I'm getting around in the morning. That way I only see the new stuff every day and don't feel like I'm neglecting the game or burning out on it.
Haha, yep! I just run through a basic checklist. Check mail Find money/gem rock Find fake rock Build snowman Interact with special visitor Check shops And then optional stuff that I don't go out of my way to do like talking to villagers if they happen to be in my path or digging fossils and gyroids if I happen to spot them.
Yeah, I usually do the basic stuff like find the money rock every time I pick up the game. I think my problem is that I try to drag the game on too long! As for playing online, the Dream Suite isn't all that fun, aside from exploring someone else's town. I havn't tried the online features on the island though. I may check it out eventually.
Honestly, just try not to overplay the game. It has more longevity in short bursts. But perhaps you can start doing something really interesting with your town landscape for the dream world. Some towns are extremely complex and have storylines as you travel through them. That could be kind of fun.
Huh, interesting! I'll have to look at some dream towns for referance. After all, the only really unique thing about my town right now is the paths, and that's pretty much it!
