    I've had 4
I had a dell that my mom gave me which she had for 8 years and it only lasted me 2 months.

Then for Christmas of 2011 I got a gateway that I ended up accidentally breaking in late 2012

For my 3rd laptop for Christmas of 2012 I got a Lenovo but it sucked so bad so after 3 months of having it i got rid of it bc it sucked

And today is my year anniversary that I've had my dell which has been my 2nd favorite my first favorite was the gateway.

    - Toshiba: Broke it while riding my bike because I was dumb and put it in a cloth grocery bag instead of a bag that could hold it.
    - Forgot the brand, but I ended up getting a ton of viruses on it.
    - Dell: This one is technically still mine, although I don't have it with me. A friend needed it. But I don't really need it because I got:
    - Asus: Still have it. One of the 2 computers I currently use
    - Mac: Using it right now.

One, a Macbook I bought about 5,5 years ago. Had to do some repairs the other day (way cheaper than buying a new one) and now it's running super smooth again.

    I've had 4 laptops!

    1st: Dell Latitude
This one was a latop that my High School gave me, lasted me 2 years. It broke during band practice when the drummer smashed the screen with a drum stick...I am not joking.

    2nd: Alienware M13x
This was my first laptop I bought myself, and still technically works, however the screen hinge is broken. I loved it while it was fully functional! Now it's just dated and doesn't run the programs I need.

    3rd: HP something......
2nd laptop I recieved while in my senior year, as an "upgrade" from the Dell. Was alright for school, but was just not powerful enough for any design or recording work. When a graduated the school did a buy back of the laptops and away it went.

    4th (current): Horize W650EH
This is the most expensive laptop I have ever bought, and is by far the best. Can run ANYTHING I throw at it.

  9. Too many!

My first one was a Toshiba Satelite, it was slow, P4, 512mb ram. Got rid of it after a year.
My second one was a Toshiba Qosmio, I had it for 2 years until the motherboard fried.
My third was an Alienware, kept it for 2 years until I gave it to my brother.
My fourth was an Asus laptop, still have it but the screen is dead.
My fifth is another Asus, loving it so far.

Three. One got old and died of natural causes, another is in hospice, and this one is in the prime of its life.

    Ah... 3

Some old gaming HP monstrosity. Had an over clocked 3.4 ghz core like 2 gb ram and a 256 mb video card.

My next one was some hp thing again that was mid ranged.

My current is a Samsung chronos pretty decent specs of a quad core 2.2 ghz and 6 mb ddr ram 512 mb radeon video card.

Doubt I'll buy a computer over 300$ again since I only use it for Microsoft Office stuff.

Only one. I bought a 15" MacBook Pro 4.5 years ago, it still runs perfect. I've never had one problem with it, I don't even have an anti virus program, never had any problems. I love my Mac.

    I've lost count.

First was a 486 that I had Slack 4 on, got it used, and it died.
Next was a 68030c based Powerbook
After that, things get hazy... got a couple Pentium 1 class laptops, but I only use one of them now for programming radios. My Dell Centrino based laptop has some system board issues, has gone thru 3 hard drives, and the display is gone, I have a Sony Vaio that I got second hand with a bad hard drive, a battery that refuses to charge, and it's power connector went bad (I've replaced it with a different kind of connector). I've got a grey market Atom based netbook from just before netbooks were launched over here, and a couple Asus EEE netbooks that are running different flavors of linux. I'm not certain if this covers all of them

Um, 4. My favorite was my previous one, some Dell thing, used it for a few years but the battery died, sadly.

My dad broke one of them lol, years ago he got home from work, I was playing an RPG on my laptop, and me/my mum (not sure) told him I had gotten an F on a test that day. He got really angry and shut my laptop really hard, breaking the screen. I had another one so it was all good, I found it amusing in a way. It's just that if hadn't taken away my hands, they could have been broken or something. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I want my next one to be a MacBook, not sure which one, but there's so many things I want to save money for that it could take a couple of years until I have one.

I got my first laptop, which was a Dell 120L while I was in college. However, it was too big and bulky, and I wanted something a bit smaller. So, I purchased my second laptop/netbook, which was an Acer Aspire One netbook. I still have it, but I need to add a new hard drive to it after my kittens knocked it over and onto the floor.

And now, my third laptop is also an Acer 5750-6664, which has been my fastest laptop so far and I love it!

I plan on purchasing another laptop for my children because they're always on mine.
