Is this a Gameboy Advanced game? Because I played one once and it was SOO boring. All they ever did was talk.

The first two Golden Sun games were amazing! My favorite Gameboy Advanced games by far. It was pretty incredible how they were able to put so much into the games. Like vyvance said, the new one was very lacking when compared with the first two though.

I still replay them every so often

Heh yeah there was a lot of talking in the beginning of the game. But, yeah they were probably two of my most favorite games on GBA. I like the third one, but eeeeeh, it's not as challenging as the first two (which is really saying something because the first two weren't that difficult themselves)

The talking gives them a certain charm if you ask me; it may not be for those not into that sort of thing but the plot more than made up for it, imo, as it kept you hooked. The music was amazing and fit perfectly, especially for a Gameboy Advance title. They were also, as noted above, very expansive considering the limit the handheld at the time could handle.

I loved the first two and still the third, although the different plot, etc., kind of made it feel...detached. I still can't wait for the fourth, which should be coming for the 3DS hopefully.

I have to say that the first two could get pretty tough though, if you didn't level carefully and/or didn't have certain Djinn. An example was the Star Magician in The Lost Age who was a *****. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
