Hi. I need some help buying a TV. It has to be FULL HD , and I have found this one. In the description, it says "hd ready 1080p" . What does that even mean? I thought it was "full hd 1080p" and "HD READY" was for 720p.Also,one of them said "HD TV 1080P" instead of full hd. I just want to play PS3 on it so 50hz should do right? I'm mainly looking for TV's under £200,doesn't matter if its used , 32 inch and full hd. Up to now I've found this : LG 32LK450U Televisions - 32" Full HD LCD TV - LG Electronics UK Thanks for reading this, and if can explain what the difference between all the "full hd's" and that stuff would be appreciated.
I quickly looked over the specs and it's indeed 1080p! Hd ready, full hd and all that are mostly marketing gimicks which is totally confusing to the consumer. 50hz is alright for blu rays and movies however I'm not sure for gaming. The only downside I can see is that you'll get motion blur during fast paced movies and games.
So you recommend a bit faster for gaming? 60hz should do right? It's in no way professional gaming, just passing time
60hz would be ideal but if you don't mind the motion blur go with it. just google the the make and model of the tv and read the reviews.
60Hz would bit better, but for a 32 inch you will not see much of a difference, any bigger screen size you want 120Hz. I watch hockey and play some ps3 on my samsung 32inch1080p and performs great. Amazon.com: Samsung UN32EH5000 32-Inch 1080p 60Hz LED HDTV (Black): Electronics
