Who remembers 102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the Rescue?

or Spyro: Year of the Dragon

Ugh, I wish I can go back in time and play them like when I was a kid :bang: childhood nostalgia...

I never played those, but one I do remember very fondly is Diddy Kong Racing. Gosh that game was a lot of fun!

Those are much much newer than what I remember. Try Sonic the Hedgehog or Super Mario Bros.

I love the first 3 Spyro games on PS1. I played them as a child and they're some of my happiest memories. I did everything in them. Even the bits I didn't enjoy so much. Now they're too easy but still fun. Also; Alien Trilogy, Doom, and Quake 2. Still play them sometimes and they stand the test of time. I also played some more obscure games such as Action Man Operation Extreme... nobody here has heard of it lol. Same with Oni on the PS2. Some games aren't as good as I remembered them. It's the same with some of the music I enjoyed in my teen years. Some good and some bad.

Spyro is old school? Yikes, I feel old XD.

The first one was alright. 2 and 3 though were my JAMS on the original Playstation. Beat both of them to 100% completion more than once. They hold up today as phenomenal games.

  8. The first games I ever played were the Mario Bros. games on the nes.

If Spyro is considered old school then I feel super old right now....lol

My dad sometimes played games such as Space Invaders and Pong. Somebody else might have played even older games!

My first game was Pokemon Blue. I picked Charmander as my first Pokemon to confuse other kids. I got Tetris around the same and played it to death. I've lost count of the times I've completed Pokemon Blue and Red... uh, it's quite crazy really. So I played Gameboy and soon PS1 and N64.

I haven't played many true old school games. I do however have The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition on Game Cube. I've got a used console I bought up town which contains 80s games. It doesn't count as nostalgic since I never grew up playing these games xD

I love Secret of Mana and A Link to the Past on the SNES. Those are seriously two of the best games I have ever played.

The oldest game I've played is proabably Yoshi's Story on N64. I played it much later though, after the DS and all that came out. My first game system was a Gameboy SP, though I've played with older system.

Compared to others, Crash Bandicoot isn't exactly old school but I remember buying many of the games years after they were released which led to me playing PS1 games on the PS2 which prevented me from saving :frowning2:

The oldest game I can honestly say I've played is Pitfall on the Atari. I didn't play those as a child though, so I don't know if it counts. My friend bought an Atari at a Thrift store, so we had an Atari party.

My first game system was the NES, and I was terrible at it, excluding Dr. Mario, which I was decent at for only being about four at the time.

I didn't actually play the games (wellish) until the 64 era. So I guess by my standards, Spyro would be pretty old. However, my nostalgic sense is kind of different due to the fact that I still have a lot of my old games and play them to this day.
