Loved 'em! Beat both of them twice, once on the light side and once on the dark side.

    Gotta love HK-47

I love these games. Some of my favorite of all time. The story and game play are so tight and wonderful. I've also played the MAO and loved that as well. Don't lay anymore but still subscribe to support the kings that are Bioware.

Only thing that makes me sad is that these games came out before Bioware got smart and put gay and lesbian romances in. I had to play a guy to romance Bastila cause there was no way I was not getting some of that.:icon_wink

They stand up today as some of the best games ever made as I see it. I beat both of them multiple times and they are unforgettable. Two improved a bit on some elements and traded off ending quality for it, but both of them are serious heavyweights. What I don't get is why no game since has tried that hybrid combat system. It was marvelous!

Still waiting for KotOR 3 once they drop their lame-duck MMO :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I love those games but holy shit did they have a lot of bugs...

Thing is, if they want to release any more they REALLY need to work on their end game. By the end of Kotor2 your force powers where so damned powerful it really didn't matter WHAT you did...

I've been playing Swtor for about a year and 8 months now, and they have absoloutely murdered Revan. The game is overall quite good, but they have competely disregarded the KOTOR story IMO.

I guess I was playing it wrong lol, I mostly disregarded force powers for my own character, preferring instead to focus on lightsaber combat. I really only used force speed and healing hehe.

My first character was a sith, force focussed. Once you had force life steal and lightning to full it really didn't matter WHO you came across you weren't about to die, and that was about mid game!

I've tried to play it through again ignoring the force and trying to use a pistol instead which was fun for a while but then it forces you to focus on the story and character creation and really points out where corners were cut!

Your signature reminds me that I see Mass Effect as the spiritual successor to KotOR, especially since they were both BioWare lol. With what they learned from the ME series, if they chose to do Star Wars again, it would be nothing short of nuts.

It and Mass Effect are two of my favorite games/RPGs, Bioware is pretty good at making RPGs for sure and there is a MMO sequel to the game I play it its just called The Old Republic.

    "The Old Republic."

That game had promise until it asked me to pay for quick-slot bars. I hear they overturned that unimaginably stupid decision but I just can't bring myself to play it any more.

Yep, I played/play them. They are definately in my top ten favorite games for the original xbox. I've sunken in tons of hours into both of them and don't regret it one bit
You have to love bioware for their ability to captivate you with a great story (usually lol). Sad thing is that, because they are a major company, they often do cut corners due to the "almighty bottom line".

@RSwordsman: I do wish that more games used that D20 system, but sadly most don't. These days everything is about "stream lining" everything (i.e. dumbing down), and the D20 system just doesn't fit into that category.

I actually made an account on SWTOR after it went free, but it's not the same. I'm holding out for a third single player game.

My sister and i used to play them together all the time. The first one is my favorite, it really made you feel for the characters especially mission and zaalbar.

Kreia's one of my favorite fictional characters ever. She was so well done.

On another note, its possible to mess around in the games with pistols and just spam mines and stims to turn the combat into a complete joke. :eusa_danc

I liked Kreia because she really did make me think. Her favorite point of mine was the fact that even when one tries to do a good deed, it could lead to evil results. That should be considered before doing some simple act of charity thinking there are no strings attached.

It was fairly easy to predict where she would side at the end, though lol. Couldn't pull off true neutral quite as well as Jolee could.
