iPod touch 5th gen, updates.

    Okay simple question I really want the answer to.
    - If I stop updating my iPod will anything bad happen?
    I have over 3,000 songs and the current update needs 800 mb free in order to update and I do not want to delete any songs. I am a HUGE music addict lol...So yeah any bad things bound to happen?

    I’m not sure if effects ipod touches, but recently there was security issue with the iPhone (I think it effects any iOS device). Supposedly, it something doing with connecting to unsecured wireless network and people trying steal your credit card info.

    Those updates probably contain patch to fix that.

    Ah I see. My iPod ended up updating on it's own, im not sure how cause I had no space but it's okay lol.
