    Are there any other fans of indie horror games? Stuff like SCP, Ib, Eversion, etc. No one I know plays any indie horror, or any horror at all really. Hell, I'd care to know if anyone plays mainstream games like Amnesia or Silent Hill.
    Are there any really good horror games you guys know of besides the obvious ones?

    Well i just moved so as soon as i get internet here i plan getting some good horror games. I do remember playing fatal frame a lot though, back when i had it.

    on in unrelated note useing my phone for everything sucks!

    I haven't played SCP: Containment Breach. i have it though. I want to play it so badly, but I'm at school right now. I've read way too much about a lot of scp.
    I also would love to play Outlast. Among other games.

    Does OFF count as horror? It's bizarre and creepy. I played it about a year ago and just started it up again.

    Didn't care for Amnesia. I'm a big fan of Silent Hill though. 1-3, with 2 a favorite. 4: The Room is kind of terrible. Haven't played the others but I hear Downpour isn't too bad.

    OFF is psych horror.
    Only the first SHs are good. :rolle:

    SCPs are great though. Any favorites? I like 294,
    98, and all the Wondertainments.

    Ib is my favorite game of all time. I recently played Serena, and that wasn't too bad. Nothing special though.

    Has anybody on here played The Cat Lady? I've watched someone on youtube play it, and it looks like a masterpiece. Despite all of that, I'm still too terrified to play it! :grin:

    I haven't played it either, but ive seen multiple people play it(Cry, CinnamonToastKen, etc.)
    It's interesting enough to consider getting even though it doesn't have much replay value per se.

    I watched Cry play it too! And I do see your point. I'm a sucker for games with a good story though, so I'd probably end up replaying it. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Since you mentioned Ib, I'm sure you already know about The Witch's House too...
    That one was my favorite. The true ending was so good, I cried afterwards. The game made me feel sick for a while from delving into the horror atmosphere.
    When I discovered these pixil like games I was thinking "nah this isn't going to be scary enough for me".
    but omg...
    I was so wrong...

    I'm not the only one who cried at that ending. Hmmm....
    Rpgmaker games tend to be scarier than other games in... interesting ways.

    I probably would too if it weren't for my laziness.

    I have The Witch's House, but have never played it. I'm going to start today.
    Also, Imscared.exe is an awesome game if you like psych horror.

    So I started SCP last night....I end up freaking out and mashing the save button right before I die and have to start all over. I guess I could use console command to get myself out of the sticky situation but if you cheat once you'll keep doing it

    The game is supposed to be hard. It took me like two hours before I even got to get past 106.

    I know...I just don't understand how to avoid 106... I run and run but he still catches me. The first time it was OK but when it happened again I eventually bled to death
