I haven't seen a thread on this yet what gives?! This game is awesome I can cause car accidents by hacking the streetlights it gets me laughing everytime haha.
I just started it yesterday. It's awesome! Driving mechanics suck though. :| Motorbikes are a lot easier to control.
Oh my goodness they do! X.X I just started the game, and driving the car for the tutorial my gf and I were both like "God this car is awful." I think it's because there's a slight delay between input and response that makes precision almost impossible. I hope they patch it, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm still optimistic about it, but I'm not exactly jumping to play it either lol. for the past few days I've chosen Skyrim over it.
I'm planning on intentionally avoiding the game because of the hype(that and I don't care for it at all) I have heard from a few youtubers that the game's really bad. (Or at least they didn't like it) I think Cry was one of them. I've also heard they almost had a sim city like launch in that uplay wouldn't even load up for people to play it. However, I tend to not pay attention to games this big, so I couldn't really care less.
I am playing it and loving it. I don't get the complaints with Cars I find them rather easy to do, after the initial 10 minutes of crashing And I am loving the city of Chicago, it looks fantastic, the story I'm really enjoying and there is just so much to do that I can't even go to a mission without getting stuck in 5 different sidequests.
Well yes it is certainly different (starkly different) but I don't think different means bad, it's just different. It's not like they are two modes of the same game, they are different games. But I do see your point it is difficult to handle at times.
It is a OK game. Its got problems, but I still find enough of it to be fun. If they could just make a sequel and just improve on story, hacking in combat, and of course the driving then we would have one of the better games out there. But yea also fuck U-play...
I thought the game was amazing the main story captures me dramatically and emotionally like heavy rain! I love driving around and fighting crime too it reminds me of true crime streets of LA haha
