STILL waiting to get an estimate on my broken laptop...

    The absolute worst state in the US
    My NB505 laptop has always been a hell to do my personal computing on, but I have no choice because I returned my rented Macbook Pro. Naturally the day before I turn my beloved Mac in I booted it up and it worked as well as a computer would with 1 GB ram and Windows 7. The next day I turned it on and nothing happened. Turned out that the cable connecting the Wifi card snapped and the computer won't start because of it. I am still waiting for the repair place to get an estimate on the cost of repairs...

    I know how painful being without a computer can be as I'm a geek and I spend 90% of my life on a computer :grin:
    And also how painful it must've been giving back your MacBook Pro as I would be devastated if I couldn't have mine

    It sucks. I can relate.

    I'm in front of the computer all day....

    Very, very upsetting while waiting for a repair.
