I need some help connecting my xbox to a wireless network. The wifi has a log in, but, it's browser based. Like you log on to the browser to sign in and get access, I'm in a dorm room for about 4 weeks so I would like help with this.

I've already tried opening the internet explorer app. But, it says that to use it and Xbox live connection is required, and it can't connect to xbox live because I can't log on to get full access. See my dilemma here? Is there any trick I can use to connect to the wifi?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Umm...

Do you have a laptop going over wifi?

    Enable Windows Internet Connection Sharing.

Get a crossover cable (not a standard ethernet cable)

Plug your xbox into your laptop using said crossover cable.

Internet Connection Sharing will basically turn your computer into a router, I guess is the best way to describe it. It will share your current running internet connection (the wireless access point you're connected to, AND are logged into).... with the xbox.

Not too difficult to do. I did this myself when I played xbox.
