Email issues, iPod/iPhone 5th gen.

So my iPod tells me I have an email, I glance at it to see what it is real quick but decide to read it later... I go to read it and it's gone as well as a few other emails. I did NOT delete any of the emails. This has happened a couple times.
    - Has anyone else had this problem on an iPod/iPhone 5th gen? If so do you know how to fix it?

Is it possible that your email app shows only new emails on default? Or maybe you archived them on accident?

Can you find them later? Where are they? Have you tried going on the computer and checking?

I can find them on my computer in the inbox folder but they aren't on my iPod at all. I checked the archive, trash and junk. I am not sure what happened... I have "push" turned on but I don't know what that is either, so I am not sure what that is. I only started having this problem after I had to reset my iPod to factory settings.

    Hmm, that's odd.

I don't have fifth gen, but on my older iPod, I had troubles with connecting to a mail server. I manually entered something (I think it was the host name) and it works now, but EVERYTHING, even the ones I've already read, is marked as new.

Perhaps you did something to the settings, and it's working like this, but in reverse?

I also found these on google - maybe try looking at them?

Thank you so much!!! Omg. When I googled it their were none that matched what I was looking for but maybe it's how I typed it? Who knows lol... Anywho, one of those forums was talking about mail days to sync and the limit. Must have been when my iPod was reset the days to sync were set to 1 because once I put that to "no limit" I got all of my emails back. c:

Awesome! Glad to see you got your emails back!
