    Hey,

I've just tried to install an update on my iPhone for the thing to freeze mid-install. Normally I'd just hold down the 2 buttons and restart it, however as my phone is pretty old, the top right button has broken and so I can't restart it that way.

Does anyone else know how to/have any suggestions on how to restart/save my phone?

    Thanks!

Your only option is to wait till the battery runs out. There's actually another way which is to open the iPhone and take out the battery, but it's kinda extreme and not recommended.

Have you tried holding down the home button?

Sometimes the screen looks like it's frozen, but the 'power off' prompt still pops up for some reason. You can do that.
