I'm trying to figure out which type of printer would be best for printing digital drawings. I'm not good at printers since I wasn't in school when we were studying them. I want to be able to print out high resolution drawings with and without color. The speed doesn't matter as long as the quality is good. Ink costs do kinda matter but it isn't make or break. I will be using different types and qualities of paper as well.

If I'm forgetting something just ask. Thx~

Laser is a safe bet. I don't know any specific brands, but every laser printer I've seen can do 300 dpi resolution, which holds up to the most painstaking scrutiny. You'll see the image pixels before the print ones.

Looks like the color ones are rather expensive >,< but I don't color that often I guess so a monochrome would probably work.
