Anybody ever played Gone Home? If not, I'd really really really recommend it to anyone who likes a strong story. It's not an action game, but the story of it is just amazing, it's short and on Steam.
I remember watching a lets play of this game a few months ago but I never got around to getting it on Steam. I think I'll play it now that this thread reminded me of it.
Gone Home is totally amazing. It's the amount of detail that makes a game predominantly just about 'exploring' really mesmerising. I love it. Obviously it's interesting because of other reasons too, but spoilers.
I love it, in theory it doesn't sound 'interesting', specifically. But I couldn't even pull myself away from the computer until I finished.
↑↑↑ What he said! *checks actual price* Yeah, not worth it. *goes completely off topic* Seriously, the shit, developers get away with, and Steam allowing it, it confuses me quite a lot. Who in their right mind would buy this game for the asking price (no discount), considering there are far more games out there, that are not only cheaper, but better as well? Also, i get the whole "oh but there's not enough games like this" argument, and that simply does not justify, selling a game that is akin to something a child can code in the span of a few months.
