    This morning I was talking to Cortana on my Lumia and jokingly asked her if she was gay. She said "Well, I'm not gay... but I'm not straight either. Put me down as other." I was so surprised that I nearly dropped my phone. I didn't even expect a response.

    The "kick" people get from such useless stuff... You do know, "she" uses a pre-determined set of answers to questions like that. It's not even the algorithm working on providing you with an adequate somewhat randomized answer, it's just like... a recorder response.

    Of course. I understand the technical workings behind Cortana, but Microsoft writing a response on whether their phone was gay or not is still pretty amusing.

    Pretty sure that Cortana's voice actor from the games, Jen Taylor, provides the voice of the Windows phone Cortana, too. Fun Fact: She's also Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Toad and Toadette from the Mario series, as well as Left 4 Dead's Zoey. Speaking of Super Mario, most of the male characters are voiced by the same man as TES V: Skyrim's Paarthurnax. The more you know...
