    This video, although satirical, does raise one good point.

    Best way to protect yourself is to keep multiple identities, let "them" see who you are, and while they are busy watching that, you do your personal stuff to the side.

    Basically, if you appear normal, it shouldn't be an issue, who is spying on you, just cover your tracks.
