Amazon is having a crazy awesome sale on ssd's that are normally crazy expensive. Just bought myself a 240gb PNY SSD that looks pretty wicked fast at 6Gbs. http://www.amazon.com/PNY-240GB-6Gbps-2-5-Inch-SSD9SC240GMDA-RB/dp/B007WT9UXA Seriously guys, check those cyber weekend deals out, ssds are more than half off. (!)
Hmm, tempting -- I just noticed a few hours ago that I only have 5 GB left on my 128 GB SSD (primary drive). I can probably remove a bunch of stuff though and I still have almost a terabyte left on my other HDD.
I'm keeping an eye out for a high capacity SSD. I have a 1TB one in my main desktop machine and am looking for another that size or bigger. Best price I've seen so far is about $350-400.
I picked up a Samsumg 840 Evo 1TB from amazon for $350. That seemed like a good price to me. Now to decide. Do I want to build my own workstation, or just pickup a Mac Pro.
