My favorite video game music is Halo. I could listen to it for days and never get tired of it

Halo. Final Fantasy soundtracks are pretty cool, too.

And for some reason I really like the music in Pokemon games, especially in the Mystery Dungeon series.

 

Lavender town, especially the Fire Red/Leaf Green version.

My least favirote soundtrack from any game has to be metroid II. Great game, but the soundtrack is just being assaulted by random noises.

 

I remember Metal Gear Solid IV having a nice soundtrack. And of course the FIFA soundtracks are always great (seriously, part of the fun for me each year is to see what awesome music they've selected).

 

My list

Halo, mainly 3 and 4
Legend of zelda, skyward sword is one of my favorite games
TES, their music wasn't always the best but it did a amazing job of fitting the theme of the game
Pokemon, pokemons music is does a great job of creating the mood while remaining very simple
Minecraft, minecrafts music is very soothing and is the only video game that's music I can sleep with

Mostly nostalgic ones....

 

Especially for a Metroid game it was definitely disappointing.

 

Skyrim, Halo and Mass Effect have really good music in my opinion.
