Dragon Age: Inquisition same sex relationships

I was going for the same sex relationship but that 70´s porno moustache made me change my mind....just eww

 

My character's currently in a gay relationship. It's really sweet actually!

 

I found the male - male options quite limited.
Either the porn-stache as mentioned earlier or the

omnisexual qunari. Emphasis on sexual rather than romantic it seems.

I was thinking about a same sex romance for my f!Inquisitor, but I don't really like Sera's character at all, she seems very childish to me, her thinking too straightforward and black-and-white. I quite like Josephine but I don't know how detailed her romance will be, with her being just a counselor and all. Sooo I guess I'm pursuing The Iron Bull for now

 

I wanted to romance my female mage Inquisitor with Cassandra but that's not an option unless you download a mod. That left me with Sera or Josephine. In the end I picked Cullen, to my surprise. Now I'm in my second playthrough and I'll try to romance someone else.

 

Haven't played it myself, they might be a little late to the party but it seems it's a lot more thought out than Skyrim's at least. Yay for progress!

 

The romance with Sera is actually quite adorable and entertaining. The Inquisitor and Sera is that kind of couple that are also best friends that do dumb shit together.

 

Don't mean to be that person, but there's actually been the option to have same sex relationships since the first game was released back in 2009. Two of the characters (one male and one female) were bisexual. Along with the first game, there's also two characters the same sex for each sex that are romanceable in the second game as well.

 

No, in the second game, literally everybody was bi, which was bullshit, to be perfectly honest.

It's not a same sex relationship, but I honestly think that fem elf Inquisitor + Solas is the best romance option. It gives the story a LOT more weight--especially in the Trespasser DLC

My Inquisitor loved Solas and Solas loved her, so when she confronted him in Trespasser and learned that he was Fen'harel and essentially plan to destroy all of civilization, she was extremely torn. In the end, she asked to stand by Solas side, but he denied her, refusing to let her be part of the heinous acts he was going to do. After the confrontation, my Inquisitor set out to find Solas and change his mind, one way or another. It could be really interesting in the next DA.

 

My problem with romancing Sera and Josephine is that most of my natural choices in the game seem to draw them away. For instance, I wouldn't like to pull pranks on my advisors, and don't think diplomacy's always the best solution. So there's rarely an opportunity for me to flirt with them, and when it does appear, I end up saying/deciding things that make them cringe. Too bad, guess I'll have to look up on how these relationships developed for other players on Youtube...

 

Update: I am romancing Josephine now. Dueled her betrothed. It's been nice.
