I've always been a diehard Opera user, but the newest version (Opera 25) is just a bit lacklustre - a lot of the useful settings from 12.17 have been removed making it pretty much indistinguishable from Chrome. I'd keep using 12.17 but am worried about security given its now no longer being updated.

I've recently stumbled across Maxthon which bills itself as "the fastest browser" (a bold claim!) and I must say it is pretty damn fast. It seems a lot more customizeable than Opera 25 yet more efficient (using less resources). I shall keep using it to see how it goes but I think this might fill the hole in my heart left by Opera! Although I do love the delay opening background tabs feature in Opera. I'm torn.

Anyway, what do you use? And what are your thoughts on Maxthon?

I mostly use Chrome (64 bit version), which is a memory hog*, and secondarily use Firefox. I've occasionally used IE, Opera, and Safari in the past. I've never tried Maxthon.

*With 4 Chrome windows and 100+ tabs open (because of my ADD-like browsing behavior), over 14 GB of RAM is being used on my desktop at the moment.

Safari at home, firefox at work.

I used to be Chrome guy, but on OS X it eats up the battery like there's no tomorrow, so I had to move to Safari. It's not as good as Chrome features wise but my macbook has better battery life on it.

I use chrome and have tried Maxthon and wasn't a huge fan. I actually prefer Torch because it is based on Chrome, stripped of Google tracking, and added additional features like a torrent manager and execrated downloads. I've just been too lazy to install it again

safari on both laptop and phone. interoperability, keychain access, and nice crisp and minimal interface (yes this is relevant)

I'm not sure how good it is in terms of support for newer HTML, CSS and the like though :/

Always been a fan of Firefox. I still use it to this day. Originally it was because of the extensions and customization options, but I just plain like the layout better than any other browser, and it just seems to work the best for me. Shortcuts and the like seem the easiest on Firefox. I'll probably always use it. Chrome is my secondary browser for when I need to troubleshoot or a site is recommended in it.

I use Chrome almost exclusively. I even found a theme for it that has the trans flag colors on it!
The Wii uses a modified version of Opera.

I've used Maxthon before. It's a good browser, but a bit too clunky for myself.

I prefer Chrome, with how light and cute it is.

I love Sleipnir. It's a strange one that takes a while to get used to but if you're like me and constantly open tab after tab it might be an idea to check it out.
It's pretty and has got some really interesting gesture controls too.

Just downloaded Sleipnir because it looked pretty. I like it so far!

Sorry for the double post, couldn’t figure out how to edit my previous post.

Safari is the browser that comes on iOS devices. You can't delete it, so might as well use it. Other browsers take up memory space.
