In 2010, I bought the fat PS3. It said it had 320GB but it really had 298GB on it... I decided when I get to 9GB of free space left (which will probably be within a week or two), I will stop downloading files to it.

Now I'm at 9,825GB and running out of space.

    Should I get a 500GB PS3 or 500GB PS4? Stay with a PS3 or upgrade?

Why get a new one if the old one isn't dying?

Exactly. And if you have proper funding, go buy the PS4. More games, more consoles, more fun. (It's 2 AM here don't take me too seriously)

I mean, if you're running out of HDD space, just uninstall a game you rarely, if ever, play. You can just download it again whenever.

I have 9GB of space left and I refuse to download anything else. Even though my PS3 isn't "dying", I want something that has a lot of space for me to only play games, watch videos & listen to music. The primary thing I do is download music anyway.

Yes. But I would never do that. I wouldn't know what I'm doing...

And no, you actually can't. The HDD is completely integrated into the console.

I still don't see the point. Like I said, uninstall games you don't play much any more to install new games. If it's to have more music on it, I honestly think it's a giant waste to throw money on a new PS3 or PS4 just to have music on it. Any computer can do that and has the added benefit of having external HDDs available for it without any hassle.

Lazuri, all I do on my PS3 is play games, listen to music and watch videos. It's not a complete waste because I have had 6 computers and, excluding the one I have now, they all had something horrible happen to them.
