Anyone know anything about converting an SWF files?

    So...Flash only publishes SWF files which are completely useless if you're trying to upload a thing to Youtube. I need to convert them into any other file type, but the only thing I can find to do it costs like 70 bucks ;_;

    I think you can do the conversion using VLC Player. If not, I also think that Flash will output an .flv file, which I'm pretty sure that Youtube will take as a native file.

    You also may want to try handbrake. This is what I have to use at work a lot to convert videos.

    I figured it out...apparently I needed Quicktime media player and Adobe Media Encoder to get Flash to make something not be SWF
