    I was wondering if anyone else plays Life is Strange. It's a sort of choose your own adventure game that's being released in episodes (3 of 5 are out now). You play as a girl named Max (brunette) who discovers she has the ability to briefly rewind time after seeing her estranged childhood best friend (blue hair) shot. It's a mystery game. Sort of, Veronica Mars with an impending apocalypse. Plus, you get a non-straight sidekick and the ability to play the main character as whatever sexuality you want.

    True to its name, it's a very strange game, but I like it so far. :slight_smile:

    Sounds pretty interesting, I've never played it before. Though the age gate thing on their website won't let me through :confused:

    That's odd. It should let you through as long as you're 18. It is rated M. There's a lot of profanity, some marijuana use, and posters of scantily clad women in Chloe's (blue haired girl) room. That's about it. Nothing too bad.

    I play it (and recommend it to my friends)! I enjoy the story and the mix of Telltale style of game with the amount of detail they put in all the items you can examine. A lot of people criticize the dialogue for being unnatural or cheesy but I don't really notice that, because English isn't my first language (it is funny sometimes, but that's OK!).

    The dialogue is very odd, but I like it. It's like the writers made up a whole set of slang and made it large part of the teenagers' vocabulary. It can be very cheesy, but I find it funny and interesting. I've started to use the word, "hella," way too much.

    Also, I love your avatar! Orphan Black is amazing and I love Helena. :thumbsup:

    It's honestly one of the best games I have EVER played which is saying something considering I have played hundreds upon hundreds of games, and logged thousands of hours in those games.

    But for me it goes even deeper than that. The game may well have saved my life, I was in a dark place, then decided to play it when the second episode dropped. I cried for a few hours when I got to the end (I got the good ending at that) and realized I couldn't put people through that.

    But I digress. It is definitely a must play for pretty much everyone, since the game is really a lesson in itself on, really, why you should be a good person. Which this day in age is a lesson a lot of people could use.

    I feel it's the best of it's genre. I'm hooked to it madly. The story is amazing & how player's choice actually affect the story-line makes me feel it's much more realistic than other tell-tale games! Not to mention the 'uber-cool' characters in it :icon_wink

    The ending always leaves me mouth shut. Can't wait to play the next two episodes & see what actually happens to the protagonists ..

    I so want to play it. x_x

    I just need to get a job for my own money and stuff. Just used all my money on a much-needed pair of shoes. ._.

    Also, I had noticed this while watching a livestream of it, there's this feather on the pause screen (which looks like a page in a portfolio or folder) and it's taped there, with the message "token of gratitude" pointing towards it. Anyone have an idea why it's there?

    I'm so glad that the game helped you! (*hug*) The end of the second episode was very intense. I heard how the second one ended, and I looked up a guide because I needed to make sure it turned out well.

    Even though it can be goofy, it's a very raw and real game in a lot of ways.

    I can't wait for next episode either! I think they come out about every 2 months? I'm excited and nervous to see what happens after the shock in episode 3.

    Hope you get to play it soon! I have no idea why there's the feather and note on the pause screen, I've wondered about that too. There's a lot of interesting and odd details in the game.

    You know if you take two long two answer Chloe in that scene, she'll just choose the bumper. Ah, Chloe and her terrible life decisions. She's still amazing, though.

    Do you know any games similar to this? The only one it kind of reminds me of is Gone Home (aside from the Telltale games).

    I don't know what it is, but the guys just seem kinda weird. Nathan is a jerk, and Warren... he's cute and all I guess, but he's kinda pushy. And awkward. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: (totally isn't pushy or awkward... and totally isn't being sarcastic right now... totally...)

    Until now, I thought that the shirt said, "alone." :lol: There are Jane Doe and John Doe t-shirts. Not a fan of the limited colors and styles for either version, but they're still pretty cool.
