... ARE YOU FRICKIN' KIDDING ME?!!! It looks like the game to end all games. I am so jacked. (!) I've never been a huge fan but this one's gonna be big. Who's with me?
The collector's edition has a wearable pip-boy. At this point all that gameplay they showed is icing on the cake that is the pip-boy I'm going to wear non-stop.
I find all the customization and even creating our own settlement to be a bit much but I'm terribly excited for this game regardless. Can't wait for November!
Yessss! I didn't expect to be this excited but I can't wait to play this one! Most of that excitement is probably because of the dog. Something tells me I'll spend more time hanging out with it than actually playing the game
OMG!!! I watched the full E3 reveal and it's ermagerd erserm!!! I thought it was cute Codsworth remembers you
Fallout 4 looks really good and new features are interesting. Just hope the main story and all the side quests will be as interesting as they were in Fallout New Vegas.
I'm hella excited about Fallout 4. I can't wait to build a settlement and see what the new storyline and lore is like.
Agreed, the game looks amazing, but I really hope that they focus on providing a compelling main story with characters you care about, and interesting side quests
Looks like the bottle caps guy did get to pre order with bottle caps lol. Bethesda Let This Guy Buy 'Fallout 4' With 2,000 Bottlecaps - Forbes
Yes, but they also pointed out that only he gets to do it because he was the first, so none of you get any dumb ideas.
I'm going in skeptical about it. Hopefully it proves me wrong though! But then again I always like going into a game with skepticism so I don't get too hyped if it turns out to be, ehh. I'm just hoping it follows New Vegas by making the game very morally grey. FNV was amazing for that.
I never played the previous ones but this game does look really good. I like Bethesda games so I will probably end up getting this.
I doubt it. They probably want to show off their combat because there is room for improvement, but certainly V.A.T.S. will still show up (eliminating the need for fast-paced shooter gameplay) and much of the game will not center purely around killing things. Did you see the breakdown/construction system? Everything from weapon and armor customization to building settlements from the ground up! That is pretty roleplay-heavy to my sensibilities. The Osprey-like aircraft is pretty crazy though. Nothing that I'm not looking forward to about F4.
I guess. As long as they make S.P.E.C.I.A.L and the skills a large part of the gameplay along with luck still being part of it all, I'm mostly happy. I think the combat just seemed off, which is probably nothing, but I'm less excited because of it. Still seems to slowly be retracting from its turn-based origins. Still not happy that the dialogue system now only includes four options and the voiced protagonist will make the game less immersive and harder for modders to work around.
Hmm, I didn't notice that. A "dialogue wheel" system seems pretty popular nowadays, and Mass Effect introduced a system that allowed six choices at a time. Not sure why they couldn't do that now, but I agree that voicing the main character was probably a bad choice for future mods.
