I like this thread! Tho I may have 2 favorites on some Pokemon types because, if you know me that well, I have a tendency to be bias to Grass types.


Normal:

Swasbuck (especially Summer form)
A Pokemon that changes appearance depending on seasons? Who wouldnt like that?! I know it only looks like an elk with leaves on its horns, but for me it is very elegant.


Eevee
This is my favorite non Grass type Normal type Pokemon because it is cute and has many evolutions. I am a fan of evolutions

It's a Pokemon that's made to be funny :lol: It is also very useful in competitive Pokemon battles. Rain Dance + Swift Swim = Potential sweeper.


Milotic
This is my favorite non Grass type Water type Pokemon. It's design is so... beautiful! And I love that this is like an ugly duckling story Pokemon, you know with Feebas evolving to beautiful gorgeous elegant Milotic.

A Pokemon with cool design and good abilities and move pool. Not to mention, cute!

Ice:

Piloswine
I just want to hug it. It's sooo cute!

Victreebel
I love it ever since I have seen it in the anime. Its cute that it always eat James :lol:


Toxicroak
This is my favorite non Grass type Poison type Pokemon. It's just so badass

Torterra
A real EARTH Pokemon. For me this is a Pokemon with the BEST design.


Garchomp
The sand shark <3 Great for competitive battling and has great design! Also its mega evo is awesmazool (awesome, amazing, cool)!

Flying:

Shaymin, Sky Form
Another Pokemon with great design and also has GREAT (Uber tier) powers when it comes to competitive battling!


Altaria
I always trained a Swablu to be an Altaria back then when I was still playing Emerald. And back then (when I was still a noob when it comes to competitive battling) I only train Pokemon that are beautiful and elegant and cool :lol:

Technician + Mach Punch/Bullet Seed. Nuff' said. Plus I also likes seeing it in anime, they are so cute!


Mienshao
The design!!!!!!!!!!!!! Purely the design! So elegant fighter! I love its hands that looks like a whip!

It looks like a humonculus (the one from Magic:the Gathering)! :lol: The Pokemon inside the green bob is soooooo cute!

Dark:

Shiftry
It looks like a troll under bridges But I love how they made it look like a troll the lives in the canopy of trees.


Hydreigon
Probably the one of the awesomest Pokemon. 3 headed emo dragon? Who doesn't like that?!

Prehistoric Grass type Pokemon <3 Even tho it doesnt do well in competitive battles, I still use it because it is tanky and can survive several Brave Bird attacks from Talonflame and counter it. I hate that Talonflame!


Bastiodon
I dont know about you guys, but I find it very cute! It also have a very good design

The Beyonce of the Pokemon world :lol: I love its Attack Order attack, its soooo flavorful! I like the episode where Ash and the gang helped Cheryl to get honey from the swarm of Combees and Vespiquen.

Normal: Zangoose! (Well, at least to draw. It's tough to choose when so many Normal-Types are adorable.)
Fire: The entire Cyndaquil family. My favourite starter set!
Water: Milotic. Don't even get me started on how long I spent Feebas-hunting with a makeshift map back on my copy of Sapphire.
Grass: Chikorita. Such a cutie and with such adorable evolutions.
Electric: Ampharos! I make a point of having one in my party whenever I can.
Ice: Lapras. Because Lapras.
Poison: Nidoran. Especially Nidoran(f) because they're so tiny and chunky-looking.
Ground: Flygon.
Flying: Togetic, I think!
Fighting: Breloom. (You may at this point notice I have a bit of a bias towards the kind of pear-shaped Pokémon with long necks, chunky legs and long tails with ornaments on the end...it's just a really cute build!)

In my history of playing pokemon, I've only chosen those who were either cute or beautiful enough to be on my team. It's a lot of work and I usually level all of them together. I switch all the time. Here's my list:

Normal - Deerling (Because I like deer and they're also based on the seasons)


Fire - Ninetails (LOOK AT THAT MAJESTIC BEAST!)


Water - Azumarill (It's a bunny-mouse)


Grass - Lilligant (Reminds me of fairy sprites)


Electric - Plusle and Minun (pokemon gay couple)


Rock - Aggron (This is the only pokemon of this type that I like just because it evolves from Aron)


Ice - Glaceon (To be fair, all eeveelutions are cool but how boring would it be to see a post that's all about Eevee. Note: One more eeveelution will appear on this post)


Flying - Altaria (Pretty.)


Ground - Dugtrio


Bug - I'm divided between Beautifly and Masquerain

Ghost - Mismagius (the prettiest ghost imo)


Psychic - Chimecho (lol)


Fighting - Meloetta [Pirouette form]


Poison - Roserade (he's fabulous)


Dark - Umbreon! (I'm dark)


Steel - Skarmory


Dragon - Latios


Fairy - Togekiss (I've liked togepi but hated togetic.. I'm so glad this one is the final evolution)
