How many shiny Pokemon have you encountered?

I've got a few through trade that I can't remember off the top of my head.
I've fish chained for 2 remoraids, a Goldeen, and a feebas.
I dexnaved for a shiny vulpix after 417 encounters and 3 days (it was torture)

As for my first shiny... In third grade, Pokemon Diamond, I got stuck in the route right before Snowpoint City because of the blizzard, and being too young to know to buy repels, I ran into sneasel about a million times until I encountered a shiny one! Unfortunately, I didn't know it was special so I traded it away at daycare for something likely mundane. Still kicking myself...

 

Not counting online/in game ones, two.

In Heart Gold, I found a shiny pidgey after revisiting a beginning route. Then within the last month I found a shiny Ariadios in ORAS

 

Why did I never find any shiny Pokemon?
It's luck, I guess.

 

3. Pidgey, Relicanth and Lombre.
I won't count shiny Gyarados in HeartGold. And these shiny were all in X and Y where the shiny encounter rate has increased.

 

I got a level 100 shiny hippowdon with perfect IV's over wondertrade once. Not joking.
I don't know why but I have found more shiny's wild in (GBA) sapphire than any other pokemon game. Probably because it's the only one I've found any in... Anyway, the first shiny I got was a Shiny Plusle, which has a somewhat different shade of red and I think it looks waaayy better than the normal one, but about a day after I got it my save data got corrupted... The second one was a shiny Zigzagoon (so OP), which has an orangey tint if you don't know, but it was just when I restarted my game on the first route on my way to fight May, so I didn't have any Pokeballs... I have such bad luck...

 

I've never encountered a shiny Pokemon (excluding shiny gyarados), and I've spent hundreds of hours playing some Pokemon games. Plus I haven't done many trades. However, at the beginning of the last Pokemon game I played, I got a female starter Pokemon, on the first attempt, so I didn't have to reset. I thought that was lucky enough.

 

ONE. excluding gyrados. I have a shiny deerling. My dad has a shiny tentacruel.

For the number of hours I've sunk into pokemon its not fair. LMFAO one of my friends got like three shinies in one playthrough of Black.

Oh yeah through TRADE, I had a shiny gyrados with... Suspiciously near perfect stats. And I believe one darkrai....

I don't really count those though because I know they aren't legitimate.

 

Shiny pidgy, fire red 8 years ago. Metapod, soul silver, named it AWESOMESAUCE. Some trainer on the sevii islands had a shiny meowth. I SPENT 40 POKEBALLS ON THAT MOFO BEFORE I LOST THE BATTLE. I REALLY WANTED IT. BADLY.

Then I figured out hax.

 

The ones I saw in the wild without cheat were Pichu, Gligor, Red Gyarados(in Silver. Doesn't really count), and Mantyke.

I've also received shiny legit legendaries from giveaways and two hack shiny mons via GTS--charizard and rayquaza.

 

1 and it's a Weezing! Yep, my face was exactly like his when I saw that my first shiny was that thing. -_-
