O.O when does this come out I need it desperately!?
(Yeah, free with 'in app purchases'. Have fun paying money every time you want to catch a Pokemon. I was hoping Nintendo didn't take it in this direction...)

This is a dream I've had since age 8 I thought would never come true. So I'm really excited for this!

I'm not so sure that's how it'll work. The in-app purchases would probably be more like what you see in Pokemarts, where you pay a nicely small amount for pokeballs, potions, etc. It seems Nintendo wants to emulate what they've been doing for so long in real life. And with the prices they've had for these things, I'm totally up for it.

That commercial had some corny acting, but that aside...

This is one of those situations where I really want to see the actual product, not some over hyped CGI bonanza. I have my reservations about this, though the potential is there, and it has my curiosity, especially with how distribution would work and the frequency of events. However, there are two things that need to be kept in mind:

    1. Don't buy into the hype.
    2. It's only on smart phones because I don't have one, and Nintendo knows if it were anything else, I would crush the dreams of trainers everywhere and devour their souls, when I become supreme Poke'Empress.

Isn't that just dream radar? I bet that it'd be cool in VR though... Get a google cardboard, look like an idiot, and... This is an awful idea and won't work in practice. I bet ya.

I'm kind of excited for this and kind of not. I mean this is a good idea in theory, kind of. I just don't see it running smoothly at all.

I can only image how much it will eat my battery life and the amount of times it will crash, and I'll have no signal like 90% of the time :tears:

But who cares, I'm still a sucker for this stuff, so I'll still give it a shot... I guess.

Seems pretty cool looking at it, but as has been already voiced- I kind of want to see how the app is actually like.

I've always loved Pokemon and it seems to be going in an amazing new direction. I'm not sure how everything will work but I'll get the app anyways when it's released.

I'm quite stoked over the idea of this, and really hope it'll be good! I'll be so sad if it isn't, because the concept is so cool and if executed well would be super neat.

Also, I just want to walk around with the little Go Plus on my wrist, y'know?

    It looks cool but
    1) I don't travel a lot
    2) I don't have a device for it
