So I've been playing the beta now for 3 days and I have to say it is amazing. Finally a game to compete with COD. I really enjoy the unique game play. the class system works great.
It looks cool. Honestly I'm spoiled by Arma, because that's a military game good for almost everything. But Siege looks to have it beat in terms of localized destructible environments and slick movement in close quarters. I want to get it.
I posted this comment on AngryJoe's gameplay of the beta: There is nothing more I can add to it. Its fun but easily forgettable.
I have a friend who is trying (very poorly) to convince me and another one of our common friends to get this on release so we can play together (or something). Can somebody sell me on this? 'Cuz what little I've seen doesn't look terribly interesting. What do you like about it?
It looks like an updated RS: Vegas 2. If you played that game, you'd know. It looked rough for being very early in the last gen cycle (barely better than original Xbox/PS2 graphics), but was a very solid game. To this day there isn't one I know of that lets you customize your equipment to such a degree, nor are there many with such complete and effective mechanics for cover, shooting, and tactical entry. The Tom Clancy pedigree is what assures me it will be worth the money.
