    What did you think of these games?

    I really like them a lot. Both games were interesting. The Beginner's Guide was a little sad. A really interesting thing about The Beginner's Guide is that my views of Coda at the beginning and middle were different than my view at the end.

    I'm not sure whether you're referring to the Stanley Parable or the Talos Principle.

    Stanley Principle. Though at the end of my first post, I was talking about The Beginner's Guide.

    And I'm saying there isn't a game called "Stanley Principle." There's one named "The Stanley Parable" and one called "The Talos Principle" but not one called "The Stanley Principle" and I'm not sure which one of the two you are referring to.

    Oh. Thanks for bringing that up. I get names mixed up a lot.

    I feel kind of bad. I meant to put Stanley Parable. ;-;

    I've never played either of them personally but I think that Stanley Parable is brilliantly scripted.

    I have played both, and have very different feelings for each of them.

    For The Stanley Parable, I sniffed every corner of that game. As someone well versed in the Source engine (the engine both games were built off of), I decompiled the maps, I looked in the source resources, I tore that game apart. I loved all of it when I played it, and had to see what else was there. Absolutely love it.

    For those who are missing it, try to get the "cheat" ending. you can set "launch parameters" by right clicking a game, and going into it's properties. type in "-console", and when you load up the game, type into the grey box "sv_cheats 1". Repeat this three times, after his exposition. it's amazing.

    As for The Beginner's Guide, that game is just, me all over. I actually sold it by telling my friends that the game was "me". I connected to it on such an intimate level. It perfectly described my feelings, from both Davey and Coda's points of view.

    I would recommend anyone in the creative industry, or if you do creative things as a hobby, play that game. you will not regret it.
