So my iPad has a black line starting from the top all the way to the bottom of the screen. The line is right in the middle of the screen. I tried resetting it and then when I turned it back on it was still there. Also the part of my screen that I can still see is fuzzy. What should I do?

Do you have first gen Ipad? If so its a common problem but it sounds like screen is going out, if it still has warranty I'd contact Apple right away. If not you can get a replacement screen for cheap on eBay and get someone to replace it for you if you can't do it yourself.

Other then that you can try Google search, I was never a fan of Apple. Hate their products, overpriced stuff IMO

No it's an iPad mini I'm not sure what gen but I got it in December of 2013 if that helps. I don't know what the warranty plan on it is but it's probably over by now.

Apple is probably greedy enough to make their products self destruct as soon as a new one releases.

    Ha. Ha. Ha.

Hit it with a hammer or cover it in duck tape. Or if it's under warranty send it back to get it fixed, but if not you can normally get stuff like that fixed fairly cheaply (£40-80 in average, I think).

But I have got a Vendetta against apple so hitting it with a hammer is a viable option.

Or wait for the ipad pro mini 12 s+, see if I care...

    Oh noes!!!

I would be really upset if that happened to my iPad.

Where I live we have lots of shops that advertise iPad screen replacements. Might you have luck looking for something in your area?

It won't be a repair with a warranty behind it, but it'll be a repair.

It could also be a hardware problem with the integrated graphics

IMO tablets are disposable, they're not worth repairing unless they still have warranty.

Mac and IPad sales keep going down hill, they're heavily discounted for schools.

If you don't want to (or don't have enough $$) to get it repaired, you can check into getting a Kindle Fire.

Its Amazon's 7" tablet and is only $50. I got one after my Google Nexus 7 randomly stopped working and they quoted be $200 for repair.

My Fire works really well for me, and you can get an SD card to make up for the lack of initial storage space.

    (Amazon ad ended)
